Toronto Film School Celebrates the Diversity of its Students, Staff and Faculty

At Toronto Film School, the diversity of our students, faculty and staff is celebrated and highlighted.

“Our people come from all walks of life and various backgrounds in a shared commitment to excellence in higher education,” said Thamina Jaferi, Toronto Film School’s Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

“We are working together to ensure that everyone feels welcome and included.”

To those ends, Toronto Film School has been developing a Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan that focuses on the importance of communications, the creation of safe spaces for dialogue, diversity data collection, training and capacity-building.

In addition to the implementation of voluntary self-identification surveys, the launch of the Diversity Calendar and Diversity Advisory Councils, Toronto Film School is reigniting the conversation on what diversity, equity and inclusion means to our vibrant community.

Join in on that conversation on social media by using the hashtags #TorontoFilmSchool and #DiversityEquityInclusion
