Time Until Next Intake:

An Update on the Winter Term at Toronto Film School

Toronto Film School continues to work closely with local health authorities and the government to determine a safe and healthy way to continue to deliver an exceptional learning experience for our students. However, the reality is that the situation around the COVID-19 pandemic changes and evolves nearly every day. In the meantime, planning for Winter 21 continues, and we can share that we intend to offer some sections of certain courses in person. Students can choose to join the class physically or virtually for these courses, depending on their comfort level.

For the Winter Term starting in January 2021, Toronto Film School will continue to offer a mix of remote synchronous delivery and limited studio courses for the following programs.

Acting for Film, Television and the Theatre

  • Film Production
  • Fashion Design

The following programs will continue to be offered through remote synchronous delivery.

  • Video Game Design & Development
  • Video Game Design & Animation
  • Writing for Film & Television
  • Graphic Design & Interactive Media
  • Marketing for Fashion & Entertainment

Further details will be communicated to students by their program advisors.

Again, no student will be required to attend classes physically, but they will be given that option. Furthermore, there will be strict protocols in place for those who choose to study on campus. Most importantly, we will ask anyone who is experiencing cold, flu, or other suspected symptoms of COVID-19 not come to the campus and contact your primary health care provider. Ontario students can also call Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000 to speak with a registered nurse.

Full integration back into the physical classroom will not happen until public health deems it safe for us to do so.  We are proud of all our students, faculty and staff who, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, continue to contribute to an engaging remote learning experience.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English.
